The Ajax DualCurtain Outdoor Jeweller is a wireless bidirectional outdoor curtain detector. It watches two narrow zones in opposite directions along a wall, protecting doors, arches, passages and windows from a single mounting point. It is aimed at houses and commercial buildings that need perimeter detection before an intruder gets inside, and it is rated IP54 and environmental class IV.
Four IR sensors cover each side at 4–15 m, with the distance set separately for each side by sliders on the rear panel. A near-zone option reduces the blind spot under the detector, and the viewing angle can be shifted by 3°. SmartDetect and ELSA algorithms filter false alarms, and objects up to 80 cm tall are ignored. Anti-masking detects obstruction, paint or tape on the lenses. Two CR123A batteries last up to four years.
