The Ajax MotionCam Outdoor HighMount (PhOD) Jeweller is a wireless outdoor motion detector with a camera, designed to be mounted high, at 2–4 m, out of easy reach. It is intended for warehouses, yards, car parks, building sites and the perimeters of commercial and residential buildings, where alarms raised outside need to be verified with photos. It is rated IP55 and environmental class IV and certified to Grade 2 under EN 50131 and PD 6662.
Two PIR sensors and a 24 GHz K-band microwave sensor cover up to 15 m across a 90° field. The camera has a 115° × 84° view, HDR and IR backlight, and sends a photo series on alarm, on demand, by scenario, by schedule or on arming. A magnetometer reports attempts to tilt, shift or remove the detector, and anti-masking detects blocking. It is supplied with a swivel mount and hood, runs up to three years on six CR123A cells, and accepts 12–24 V DC.
