The Ajax MotionCam Outdoor (PhOD) Jeweller is a wireless outdoor motion detector with a built-in camera for photo verification of alarms. It is intended for gardens, yards, driveways, car parks and the approaches to homes and commercial buildings, where an alarm raised outside the walls can be checked from photos before anyone responds. It is rated IP56 and environmental class IV and certified to Grade 2 under EN 50131.
Two PIR sensors with the LISA and SmartDetect algorithms cover 3–15 m, set with a scroll bar, and ignore animals under 80 cm tall. On alarm the camera sends a series of photos, with an IR backlight for darkness; Photo on Demand and photos by scenario, schedule or arming are also available. Anti-masking sensors react to covering or painting the lens. Four CR123A batteries last up to three years.
