The Ajax Superior CombiProtect S, now listed by Ajax as Superior CombiProtect Jeweller, is a wireless indoor detector that combines a PIR motion sensor and a glass break detector in one housing. It belongs to the Ajax Superior line for project work, sold, installed and administered by accredited Ajax partners, and suits rooms with large windows or glazed doors in homes and offices.
One device covers motion up to 12 m and breaking glass up to 9 m away, saving a second detector and a second battery. The glass break channel uses Ajax DualTone, which only raises an alarm when it hears both the low-frequency impact and the high-frequency sound of breaking glass. The detector ignores pets up to 20 kg when correctly installed and runs for up to 5 years on its pre-installed battery.
