Fortinet FortiSwitch 1024E

The Fortinet FortiSwitch 1024E is a high-density Data Center switch delivering a secure, simple and scalable 10GE Ethernet solution with outstanding throughput, resiliency and scalability. It's built for Top of Rack server or firewall aggregation, and for SD-Branch network core deployments that need dense 10GE fan-out with 100GE uplinks.

The FortiSwitch Data Center Series supports FortiGate management through FortiLink, extending the Fortinet Security Fabric down to the Ethernet port level. The same policies configured on FortiGate interfaces can be applied to the 1024E's Ethernet ports, reducing complexity and management cost, with centralised, role-based policy control and consistent authentication for users and devices regardless of how or where they connect.

With 24x 10GE SFP+ ports and 2x 100GE QSFP28 uplinks behind an 880 Gbps switching fabric, the 1024E is commonly deployed and managed through a FortiGate with FortiLink, but can equally be deployed and managed standalone in non-FortiGate environments.
