Fortinet FortiSwitch T1024E

The Fortinet FortiSwitch T1024E is a high-density Data Center switch delivering a secure, simple and scalable Ethernet solution with outstanding throughput, resiliency and scalability. Unlike the SFP+ based 1024E, the T1024E brings this same 880 Gbps switching fabric to copper connectivity, with 24x 1G/2.5G/5G/10GBASE-T ports for servers and equipment that need multi-gigabit RJ45 rather than fibre.

The FortiSwitch Data Center Series supports FortiGate management through FortiLink, extending the Fortinet Security Fabric down to the Ethernet port level. The same policies configured on FortiGate interfaces can be applied to the T1024E's Ethernet ports, reducing complexity and management cost, with centralised, role-based policy control and consistent authentication for users and devices regardless of how or where they connect.

With 24x 10GBASE-T-capable copper ports and 2x 100GE QSFP28 uplinks, the T1024E is commonly deployed and managed through a FortiGate with FortiLink, but can equally be deployed and managed standalone in non-FortiGate environments, drawing a lower maximum power of 128W thanks to its copper PHY design.
