Why DECT instead of Bluetooth?

DECT is purpose-built for wireless voice: greater range around the building, a secure dedicated link, and no contention with Wi-Fi or paired phones. For office roaming on calls, it is the more dependable technology.

Does it connect to desk phones?

This model connects to PCs via its USB-A DECT dongle. If you need desk phone connectivity too, the Engage 65 Stereo uses a base station with both USB and telephone connections.

Mono or duo?

Duo (this model) blocks out more of the room — the usual pick for concentration-heavy call work. The mono version keeps one ear free for colleagues.
