The Pyronix DIGI-WIFI/XA is a plug-in Wi-Fi communicator with an external antenna, made for Pyronix wired control panels in metal enclosures such as the EURO range and the PCX 46. It connects the panel to the property's existing wireless network, so the alarm can communicate without a network cable to the router, a SIM card or a phone line.

Through the PyronixCloud it gives the user app control of the system, lets the installer program it remotely with InSite UDL software, and can signal to an alarm receiving centre. The antenna sits on a 1m lead with an MMCX connector so it can be mounted away from the metal panel case, as the installation manual requires. Red, amber and green LEDs show cloud connection, app connection and network traffic.
