The Pyronix TMD15 is a Grade 3 hard-wired detector that combines two non-overlapping detectors in one housing: a PIR and a dual-technology PIR plus microwave unit. It is designed for commercial and higher-risk premises that need confirmed detection to EN 50131 Grade 3 and PD 6662, where an alarm receiving centre needs two separate activations before treating an alarm as confirmed.

The two detectors have separate relay outputs that signal independently to the panel, giving a cost-effective sequential confirmation system from a single device. Both the PIR and microwave are protected by Pyronix anti-masking, which reacts to sprays, tape, paper or boxes within 0–1m, and an anti-blocking mode stops the panel being armed while the field of view is partly blocked. A foam gasket seals the optics against draughts and insects.
