EURO-ZEM8Pyronix Wired ZEM8 Expander
The Pyronix EURO-ZEM8 is an 8-input wired zone expander for Pyronix EURO control panels, including the EURO 46 and EURO 76. It is for installers who have used the panel's eight on-board inputs and need to wire in more detectors, door contacts or other devices. The expander connects to the panel's RS485 data bus and is housed in its own white ABS box with front and rear tamper protection.
Each expander is given an address with the DIP switches on its board and is then added from the engineer menu. On a EURO 76, addresses 0 to 7 give inputs 9 to 72; on a EURO 46, up to four expanders give inputs 9 to 40. Inputs can be wired normally closed, double end-of-line or as Grade 3 mask/fault circuits. Where outputs or an on-board power supply are needed, Pyronix offers the EURO-ZEM8+ and EURO-ZEM8+PSU.
