The Pyronix EURO-ZEM8+PSU is a wired zone expander for EURO control panels, housed in a large metal enclosure with its own mains power supply. It connects to the panel on the RS485 data bus and adds eight zone inputs, which suits commercial and larger domestic installations where detectors sit some distance from the panel or extra local power is needed.

Each of the eight inputs can be wired double pole, double end of line or triple end of line, and four transistor outputs are available for sounders, signalling or automation. The integrated 2.5A power supply provides 13.75V at 1.7A continuous for local devices and supports a standby battery. Pyronix states the expander is suitable for systems installed to PD6662 and EN50131 at Grade 3.
