Snom M6 DECT Wideband Repeater for M300/M400/M700/M900

The Snom M6 is a DECT repeater for extending the radio coverage of a Snom DECT installation. Where a base station's signal fades before it reaches the far end of a warehouse, a stock room, an upper floor or an outbuilding, the M6 relays the DECT signal onward — filling dead spots without running new network cabling.

It is a simple fix for the classic cordless complaint: calls that crackle or drop at the edge of the building. Position the repeater within good signal range of the base, plug it in via the supplied power adapter (EU, UK and USA plug clips included) and the coverage footprint grows. Pair it with Snom bases such as the M400 — or if the site is large enough to need several cells with seamless handover, consider the M900 multicell system instead.

Frequently asked questions

What does a DECT repeater actually do?

It receives the DECT signal from a base station and relays it onward, so handsets stay connected in areas beyond the base's native coverage — typically far corners of buildings, other floors or outbuildings.

Does the M6 need a network connection?

No — a repeater only needs mains power at its location. The supplied power adapter comes with EU, UK and USA plug clips.

Repeater or another base station — which should I choose?

A repeater suits modest dead spots on an existing system. If you need to cover a large site with many simultaneous calls and seamless handover, a multicell system such as the Snom M900 is the more scalable route. Tell us about your site and we will advise.

Will it work with my Snom DECT system?

The M6 is Snom's repeater for its DECT range. Let us know which base station you run and we will confirm the fit before you order.
