The Texecom SmartCom is a plug-on Ethernet and Wi-Fi communicator for Premier Elite control panels. It connects the alarm to Texecom Cloud and the Texecom Connect app, so users can control the system from a phone and installers can service it remotely. It suits homes and businesses that already have a reliable broadband router on site.

The connection is outbound only, so no port forwarding or firewall changes are needed, and the unit takes its IP address by DHCP. Wi-Fi is set up through a simple user web page, while Ethernet is recommended as the primary path for stability. With Texecom Monitor it can also provide graded alarm signalling to selected alarm receiving centres.
