The Texecom Capture CD is a wired Grade 2 ceiling-mount dual technology detector, combining a quad element PIR with microwave detection. It gives true 360° coverage from the centre of a room and suits offices, shops, healthcare and other commercial spaces where a wall-mounted detector would be blocked by shelving or partitions, or where a discreet low-profile ceiling device is preferred.

Three operating modes let the installer match the detector to the site: dual tech for general use, low sensitivity for difficult environments, and CloakWise, Texecom's algorithm that looks at both PIR and microwave signals to catch intruders trying to mask their heat signature, and keeps detection working when room temperature is close to body temperature. The microwave range is adjustable, with LED feedback while walk testing.
