The Texecom Premier 8XE is a plug-on zone expander for the Premier Elite 24 control panel. It doubles the panel's onboard wired zones from 8 to 16 without network cabling or a separate housing, so it suits installers who need a few more wired zones at the panel location on a domestic or small commercial system.

The 8XE plugs straight onto the 8-way connector on the right-hand side of the Premier Elite 24 PCB and is held on four support pillars supplied in the box, so no extra cabling to the panel is needed. Its eight zones become zones 9 to 16, each fully programmable with end-of-line wiring, and an auxiliary 12 V output is provided for powering detectors.
