The Texecom Premier Elite PSU200XP is an intelligent 2.5 A switch mode power supply combined with a Premier Elite 8XP zone expander, in a metal housing. It is for installers who need extra 12 V power and extra zones at a remote point in a Premier or Premier Elite system, such as a far end of a building, an outbuilding or a cluster of powered detectors.
Because the 8XP expander connects to the panel network, the PSU is fully monitored by the control panel: mains failure, battery faults, output faults and tamper are reported over the network without separate wiring. Each standby battery is monitored on its own, with presence checks every 30 seconds, panel-controlled load testing and deep discharge protection. The housing takes two 7 Ah batteries or one 17/18 Ah battery.
