The Texecom Capture CQ-W is a wireless ceiling-mount PIR detector for Premier Elite systems with Ricochet mesh wireless. Its omni-directional quad-element sensor suits open-plan offices, shops, healthcare areas and rooms where a wall-mounted detector would have its view blocked by shelving or furniture.

Texecom states that the whole coverage pattern is independently certified to EN 50131-2, so the 9.3m / 360° figure it lists is the compliant coverage. An optional low-sensitivity mode adds false-alarm immunity in difficult areas, and the tri-colour LED guides learning and walk testing. It shares its form factor with the wired Capture CQ and runs on one CR123 cell.
