The Texecom Premier Elite OH-W is a wireless optical and heat fire detector that joins a Premier Elite intruder alarm system over Ricochet mesh wireless. Developed jointly with Apollo, it suits homes and small commercial premises where smoke and heat detection should be reported to the alarm panel without running cable across ceilings.

In alarm it sounds its built-in sounder in the temporal 3 pattern, sends the alarm and zone name to the control panel, and relays the message to other configured OH-W detectors so they sound as well. A tri-colour LED shows normal, fault and dirty-chamber states, and the hush/test button silences low-battery chirps for 12 hours.
