Rather than broadcasting a separate network, it joins the router's mesh, so devices keep a single Wi-Fi name and move seamlessly from room to room — ideal for home workers, larger houses and installs where the router alone cannot cover the whole footprint.
It arrives with a power adapter and an RJ45 Ethernet cable, so it can be placed wherever coverage is needed. It is the Wi-Fi 7 flagship of the whole-home AP range — for budget deployments the HC220 Wi-Fi 5 mesh AP covers the basics, and it pairs naturally with a VoIP-ready gateway such as the TP-Link EX820v at the head of the network.
