The Ajax Superior MotionCam S (PhOD) is a wireless indoor PIR motion detector with a built-in camera, now listed by Ajax as Superior MotionCam (PhOD) Jeweller. It belongs to the Ajax Superior line, which is aimed at project work and sold, installed and administered by accredited Ajax partners. It suits homes and commercial sites where the monitoring centre or owner wants a picture before acting on an alarm.
When the armed detector sees movement it sends the alarm over Jeweller and then a series of photos over Wings, so the event can be checked in the Ajax app or by an alarm receiving centre. Photo on demand, Photo by scenario, Photo by schedule and Photo by arming/disarming can also be enabled. An IR backlight allows photos in the dark, and the detector ignores pets up to 20 kg when correctly installed.
