The Elmdene QFT-RD is a wired flush-fit magnetic door contact with a 20 mm diameter body and screw terminals. It is designed for single doors, where the contact and magnet are recessed into the frame and door leaf so they stay out of sight, and suits domestic and commercial intruder alarm installations at Grade 2.

The red-coded (RD) version has 4k7 shunt and 2k2 end-of-line resistors built in for fully supervised loop (FSL) wiring, matching panels from ADE, Bosch, Castle, Menvier, Pyronix, Scantronic and Texecom. It has a tamper-protected cover and is designed to meet EN 50131-2-6:2008 Grade 2, Environmental Class II.
