The Fanvil H1 2-Wire is built for hotel refurbishments where pulling new Ethernet to every room isn't practical. It carries power and data over the existing 2-wire (RJ11) extension cabling already run to each room, so there is no need to re-cable for a SIP upgrade.
Functionally it is the same hotel phone as the standard Fanvil H1 — 2 SIP lines, 8 programmable service-hotline keys and a customisable faceplate — the difference is purely how it gets power and network. It connects back to a Fanvil 2-wire PoE switch (PN8 or PN24), which converts the 2-wire run to standard Ethernet/PoE at the rack end.
A good fit for phased hotel refits: swap the phone in each room without touching the wiring, then move to a full Ethernet installation later if the budget allows.
