The Mango (GL-MT300N-V2) is the classic pocket security tool: a mini router measuring just 58 x 58 x 25 mm and weighing about 40 g that converts any public network — wired or wireless — into your own private Wi-Fi for secure surfing in hotels, cafés and co-working spaces.
The upgraded MT7628NN chip doubles the RAM to 128 MB for smoother performance, with improved Wi-Fi stability and faster OpenVPN encryption. Beyond its built-in firewall it supports OpenVPN, WireGuard and encrypted DNS, with over 30 VPN service providers to choose from — and it can even act as your own VPN server for private access to files back home.
It connects to the internet four ways — Ethernet, repeater, USB modem or tethering — runs from a laptop, power bank or standard 5V/2A USB supply, and exposes a UART and 4 GPIOs for hardware DIY projects. A lot of capability for a device that disappears into a pocket.
