The Pyronix SMOKE-WE (2nd Generation) is a two-way wireless optical smoke detector that adds fire detection to an Enforcer security system. It raises a local alarm and signals the panel when smoke is detected, so users can also be alerted by push notification through the app. It suits homes and small premises that want smoke alerts managed alongside the intruder alarm.
A photoelectric sensor detects smoke scattering a pulsed LED light inside the optical chamber, and an 85dB sounder with flashing LEDs gives a clear local alarm. The sensor runs on sealed AA cells rated for ten years, while the radio uses a replaceable CR123A lasting two years. The test button checks the detector, silences an alarm and doubles as the learn button.
