Snom D140 IP Desk Phone - Replaces D120 (No PSU) - 100 Mbps Ethernet Port

The Snom D140 is the entry point to Snom's German-engineered D-series and the direct replacement for the discontinued D120. It keeps the same brief: a plain, reliable SIP desk phone for large rollouts where the budget per desk is tight and nobody needs a colour screen.

The two-port switch is 100 Mbps rather than gigabit, which is fine for a phone on its own drop. If you daisy-chain a PC through the phone and the desk needs gigabit, step up to the Snom D150 instead — otherwise the D140 does the same job for less.

It ships without a power supply, so plan for PoE switching or order a PSU separately.

Frequently asked questions

Does the D140 support PoE?

Yes — IEEE 802.3af PoE over the network port, which is how most sites power it.

Is a power supply included?

No. "No PSU" in the title means the box genuinely contains no mains adapter. Use PoE, or add a Snom-compatible PSU to your order.

Will it work with my hosted PBX?

It is a standards-based SIP phone and provisions against the mainstream hosted platforms. Tell us which platform you use and we will confirm before shipping.

Is 100 Mbps a problem?

Not for voice — a call uses a tiny fraction of that. It only matters if a PC is chained through the phone and the desk needs gigabit; in that case pick the D150.
