The Grandstream GRP2613W is the six-key professional desk phone with integrated Wi-Fi. It solves two problems at once: a desk that needs more keys than a standard phone, and a desk with no network socket.

Six line keys against four SIP accounts is the useful part. The extra keys are not there for more numbers — they are there so the numbers you have can sit alongside the colleagues, queues or shortcuts you actually watch, without paging through a menu.

Wi-Fi removes the cabling constraint entirely, which is what makes it the phone for hot desks, meeting rooms, converted spaces and anywhere the desk moved after the building was wired.

Frequently asked questions

Six line keys but four accounts — why?

Because most people do not need six numbers; they need their numbers plus the things they watch. The spare keys become busy lamp field, speed dial, queue login or park slots. That is what makes a six-key phone worth more than a four-key one on a busy desk.

Is Wi-Fi reliable enough for a desk phone?

On a properly covered office network, yes. Voice needs very little bandwidth but dislikes weak signal and congested channels. Put the phones on their own SSID or VLAN rather than the guest network, and check coverage at the desk before committing to a floor of them.

Can it be powered over Ethernet?

The point of the W is that there is no network cable, so it takes power from its adapter. If the desk has a socket, a cabled GRP2612 is the tidier and cheaper install.

Can the accounts be on different providers?

Yes. The SIP accounts register independently, so one phone can sit on the office PBX and a second platform at the same time.

Can I roll out a lot of these at once?

Yes — GDMS zero-touch provisioning. The Wi-Fi credentials go into the provisioning template like anything else.
