Grandstream GRP2612P Carrier-Grade IP Phone

The Grandstream GRP2612P is the four-line professional desk phone with PoE. Four line keys and four SIP accounts is the point at which a phone stops being a single-number handset and becomes a working tool — a personal DDI, a department, an out-of-hours number and a second provider, all visible at once.

PoE is what the P adds: one cable per desk, no adapter, nothing under the desk to be kicked out. On a site with PoE switches it is the variant most installers order by default.

Zero-touch provisioning through GDMS, secure boot and encrypted configuration make it deployable in quantity rather than desk by desk.

Frequently asked questions

GRP2612P or GRP2612G?

Port speed. The G has Gigabit ports; this has 10/100. Voice never needs more than 10/100 — but the PC plugged into the back of the phone does. If a computer shares that network drop, choose the G.

Four lines — can they be different providers?

Yes. The four SIP accounts register independently, so a phone can sit on the office PBX and a second platform at the same time.

Does it come with a power supply?

No — it is powered over Ethernet. If the switch port does not supply PoE, add an injector.

Can I watch colleagues' lines from it?

To a limited extent. Four keys is workable for a small team; a receptionist watching a whole office wants a GRP2615 or an extension module.

Does it work with hosted providers?

Yes. It is a standards-based SIP phone, widely deployed against hosted platforms as well as Grandstream's own UCM range.

Can I roll out a lot of these at once?

Yes — GDMS zero-touch provisioning. Phones come up configured when they are plugged in.
