The Texecom Premier Elite 8XP is a remote wired zone and output expander for Texecom Premier and Premier Elite control panels. It connects to the panel's 4-wire data network and adds eight zones, eight outputs, a speaker output and an auxiliary input at the point where they are needed, which suits larger homes and commercial sites with detectors spread over a wide area.

Expanders can be wired in a star, a daisy chain or a mix of both. A jumper selects star or daisy mode: in daisy mode the data signals are boosted so expanders can be up to 250 m apart. The 8XP also has a com port for connecting a PSU200 intelligent power supply. For CPNI use it must be installed in a suitably graded housing, such as the PSU200XP.
