The Fanvil H5 is the step-up model in Fanvil's hospitality series, aimed at hotels, resorts and serviced apartments that want a screen in the room. A 3.5-inch colour display carries guest information and branding, while six programmable soft keys put hotel services one press away.

The second LAN port is a quietly useful detail: it passes wired internet through to the guest desk, so the phone point doubles as the room's ethernet outlet. If you only need voice, the screen-free H3 or compact H2U keep the per-room cost down; the H5 is the one for the rooms where presentation matters.

Frequently asked questions

Does the H5 support PoE?

Yes — PoE is the intended way to power it, and it keeps the room point to a single cable. A local PSU is not included; add one to the order if your switch is not PoE.

Can the screen show our hotel branding?

Yes, the 3.5-inch colour display can carry a property logo and guest-facing information, configured through provisioning. We can help set up a standard template for your estate.

What does the second LAN port do?

It bridges the network connection through the phone, so a guest laptop or set-top device can take wired internet from the phone point without a second cable run to the room.

Will it work with our PBX's hospitality features?

The H5 is a standard SIP phone and works with hosted and on-premise platforms; hospitality features such as wake-up calls, MWI and check-in/check-out states are driven from the PBX or hotel middleware side.
