The Fortinet FortiExtender 311F is a global-carrier cellular WAN extender built around a Dual SIM CAT16 LTE modem, delivering up to 1 Gbps downlink for branch offices that need serious cellular bandwidth rather than just a backup trickle.

Integration with FortiGate appliances gives a single pane of glass for managing both the wired and wireless WAN connections and their security, cutting the total cost of ownership for branch WAN and simplifying remote-site management.

It can be located indoors or outdoors up to 100m from the FortiGate appliance or network switch, and is managed either directly from the FortiGate or via FortiExtender Cloud, which hosts management for an unlimited number of units worldwide.
