The Fortinet FortiExtender 511G is the next-generation 5G/LTE gateway in the FortiExtender range, pairing a Dual SIM 5G Sub-6GHz module with a reserved eSIM for extra fail-over resilience, plus a 2.5GbE port for genuinely high-throughput branch WAN.

Integration with Fortinet SD-WAN and FortiGate appliances secures internet edge breakouts with a complete set of Web, Content and Device security controls, and the unit can be managed from FortiManager, FortiGate or the FortiExtender Cloud dashboard.

It runs on 802.3at PoE (25.5W) or an optional DC 12V/2A power adapter, and adds a USB 2.0 port, RJ45 console port and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE 5.0+) for local setup and diagnostics.
