Zyxel DX3301 Fibre & DSL WiFi 6 Router

The Zyxel DX3301-T0 is a Wi-Fi 6 broadband router that covers both sides of the UK access market: it terminates a DSL line directly and is equally at home on a fibre service, so one unit can standardise an estate of mixed connections. QoS support keeps triple-play traffic — voice, video and data — behaving properly on the same line, which is why the DX3301 is a favourite with service providers as well as small offices and home workers.

Wireless comes from a built-in 2×2 802.11ax radio, and Zyxel's MPro Mesh solution lets compatible Zyxel extenders join the router in a single seamless Wi-Fi network as coverage needs grow — add a Zyxel Wi-Fi 6 extender such as the WX3100 for larger homes. If the estate is all-fibre, the EX3501 Wi-Fi 6 fibre router is the natural sibling; where there is no fixed line at all, look at the NR5103 5G Wi-Fi 6 router instead.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work on both fibre and DSL?

Yes — the DX3301 is designed for both connection types, and the box even includes an RJ11 phone cable for DSL installs. Tell us which service the router is going onto and we will confirm the right configuration before you order.

Is it a Wi-Fi 6 router?

Yes. The built-in WLAN is 2×2 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6), so modern laptops, phones and tablets connect at their best.

What is MPro Mesh?

MPro Mesh is Zyxel's mesh solution: compatible Zyxel extenders pair with the router to form one seamless Wi-Fi network, so devices roam around the property without dropping to a separate SSID.

Is a power supply included?

Yes — a 12V 2A power adapter ships in the box, along with an Ethernet cable, an RJ11 to RJ11 phone cable and a quick start guide.
