The Zyxel NR5103 is a 5G indoor router that pairs next-generation mobile broadband with Wi-Fi 6 wireless — the classic Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) recipe for homes and small sites where fibre is unavailable, slow to arrive, or needed as a rapid-deployment alternative.

Do I need a SIM and data plan?
As a 5G router, it connects to the internet over a mobile operator's network, so an appropriate 5G data plan is required. Tell us your operator and we will confirm compatibility and setup details before you order.
NR5103 or one of the newer NR models?
The NR5103 pairs 5G with Wi-Fi 6. The NR5307 and NR5313 add Wi-Fi 7 wireless — worth the step up where lots of modern devices share the connection.
What if indoor 5G signal is poor?
Where reception indoors is marginal, the outdoor-mounted NR7303 places the 5G radio where the signal is strongest and feeds the building over Ethernet.
