DrayTek Vigor 2927Lac - Dual-WAN WiFi 5 4G/LTE VPN Router

The Vigor 2927Lac covers every route to the internet in one box: dual Gigabit Ethernet WANs for fixed lines, an integrated 4G/LTE modem for mobile broadband, and 802.11ac Wi-Fi for the office. Built on the 2927 dual-WAN platform, it offers hardware-accelerated throughput of up to 950 Mbps per WAN with load balancing and failover — ready for FTTP and Gigabit connections.

The built-in 4G+ modem supports Carrier Aggregation for the best possible mobile performance, and can act as either a backup or the primary connection — ideal for new sites waiting on a fibre install. VPN, firewall, content filtering and bandwidth management complete the picture. Pair it with a VigorSwitch P2100 to power a VigorAP 912C over PoE for wider coverage.

Frequently asked questions

Can the 4G modem be my main connection?

Yes — the integrated 4G/LTE modem with Carrier Aggregation is fast enough to serve as the primary internet connection, or it can sit on standby as an automatic backup to the fixed lines.

Does it have a DSL modem?

No — the Ethernet WANs connect to a fibre ONT or separate modem. If you need integrated VDSL2, look at the Vigor 2865Lac instead.

What wireless does it provide?

Dual-band 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5) using the included pair of Wi-Fi antennas — with LTE antennas and sockets also supplied for the mobile side.

How do the two Ethernet WANs behave?

Configure load balancing to use both lines together, or failover so the second line (or 4G) takes over automatically when the first drops.
