Hardware-only is the FG-2600F appliance on its own. The bundle options add FortiCare Premium support with either FortiGuard Unified Threat Protection (UTP) or FortiGuard Enterprise Protection, over a 1, 3 or 5 year term, so licensing and support are pre-agreed with the hardware.
Is there a DC-powered FortiGate 2600F?
Yes — the FG-2600F-DC. It is the same 2600F platform but takes DC power input for telecom and data-centre racks running on a DC power plant, instead of this model's AC mains supply.
