Hardware-only ships the appliance without a fixed support/security term attached, for organisations extending an existing FortiCare or FortiGuard entitlement or purchasing services separately. Bundle SKUs combine the same hardware with FortiCare Premium support and a FortiGuard security package — Unified Threat Protection (UTP) or Enterprise Protection — over 1, 3 or 5-year terms.
What's different about the -DC version?
The FortiGate 6301F-DC is the same 3RU chassis fitted with DC power supplies for telecom and data-centre racks running DC power distribution, in place of the 100–240V AC supplies used in this standard FortiGate 6301F.
