As an SD-WAN edge it steers traffic in real time with sub-second failover and self-healing links, while policies, reporting and analytics of traffic, users and threats are managed centrally.

Hardware only or a bundle?
Hardware only includes the appliance; FortiGuard security services are subscriptions. The bundles pair the hardware with FortiCare Premium support plus either Unified Threat Protection (UTP) or Enterprise Protection for 1, 3 or 5 years — usually the simpler and cheaper way to buy the first term.
70F or 60F?
Both are rated at 10 Gbps of firewall throughput, but the 70F carries more inspection and session capacity: 800 Mbps of threat protection against the 60F’s 700 Mbps, and 1.5 million concurrent sessions against 700,000. Busier sites and larger device counts sit more comfortably on the 70F.
What about the 71F?
