Collie (GL-X300B) is an industrial 4G cellular gateway designed to operate under high temperatures and in scenarios with potential physical hazards. It is built for machine-to-machine communication between electrical devices in high electrical noise environments — think manufacturing lines, warehouse logistics, vehicle charging stations, and clinical equipment. This RS485 version includes an RS485 chip and interface supporting bi-directional data transmission for industrial automation and IoT, enabling data acquisition, control and monitoring in the field.
A built-in hardware watchdog keeps the gateway ticking unattended, and the mounting platform offers both wall-mount screw slots and a DIN-rail fitting so it drops neatly into an electrical enclosure. OpenVPN and WireGuard® come pre-installed with support for 30+ VPN service providers (WireGuard up to 38 Mbps), and GL.iNet's GoodCloud platform provides remote access, batch device management, firmware updates and status notifications. Collie is also compatible with GL.iNet's eSIM solution.
