GL-RMQ1-4PX-UKGL.iNet Comet Q (GL-RMQ1) All-in-One USB-C Remote KVM with Wi-Fi 6
The Comet Q is the world's first KVM that controls laptops — and even iPhones — from a browser. Plug its built-in USB-C cable into an iPhone, Mac mini or laptop, open a browser on any Windows or iOS device, and you are in control in seconds. No drivers to configure, no software on the target machine, and zero subscription fees.
Because it works at the hardware level, control does not depend on the target's operating system: stay in charge even when the device is asleep, locked, logged out or offline. A single USB-C cable carries video, data and power, a passthrough port keeps the controlled device charging, and the 1.8-inch touchscreen handles setup and status without opening a laptop.
Inside sits a dual-core ARM Cortex-A53 with 512 MB NAND, connected over Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax dual-band), with Tailscale, ZeroTier and WireGuard support for secure access over the internet — all in a 78.5 g pocketable unit, from UK stock with support from CLI Secure.
Key features
- World-first iPhone KVM — unlock, tap, swipe and fully operate an iOS device from a Windows desktop.
- One cable does it all — a single USB-C carries video, data and power, with a passthrough port so your device keeps charging.
- Hardware-level control — works when the target is asleep, locked or offline, and any session ends the moment Comet Q is unplugged.
- Wi-Fi 6 dual-band — 802.11ax connectivity so control stays with Comet Q even while the target restarts.
- 1.8-inch touchscreen — set up, check status and trigger actions right on the unit.
- Browser or app access — control from any browser at glkvm.com, or use the GLKVM app (Windows, macOS, App Store, Google Play) for touch gestures and multi-device management.
- Secure remote access — built-in Tailscale, ZeroTier and WireGuard VPN support, plus two-factor authentication and per-user device sharing.
- Plug-and-play for family support — preset Wi-Fi credentials before shipping it to someone; they just plug it in.
- Wake on LAN — wake and manage machines without touching them.

Frequently asked questions
What is a remote KVM?
A remote KVM (keyboard, video, mouse) gives you hardware-level control of a computer or device over the internet, as if you were sitting in front of it. Because it captures video and injects input at the hardware level, it keeps working even when the operating system is frozen, logged out or the device is offline.
How is this different from remote-desktop software?
Remote-desktop tools need software running inside a working operating system on the target. Comet Q needs nothing installed on the controlled device: it connects through USB-C, works when the device is asleep, locked or offline, and leaves no background processes — the session ends the instant it is unplugged.
Which devices can it control?
Any device whose USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode video output: iPhone 15 and newer (excluding iPhone 16e, 17e and iPhone Air), recent iPads, Samsung Galaxy S8 and newer, and most modern USB-C laptops and mini PCs including MacBooks and Mac mini. GL.iNet publishes a guide for checking DP Alt Mode support.
Does it need a subscription?
No. Browser and app access carry zero subscription fees, and built-in Tailscale, ZeroTier and WireGuard support let you reach your devices securely over the internet.
Who is it for?
iOS developers testing on real iPhones from a Windows workstation, IT teams managing fleets of mobile devices, home-lab users running multi-device setups from one browser tab, streamers controlling a second device mid-stream, and anyone helping family with tech remotely.
