HaLowLink 2 is a Wi-Fi HaLow router built for long-range Wi-Fi and mass IoT connectivity. It delivers up to 1 km (0.6 miles) of Wi-Fi HaLow range — ten times the range of traditional Wi-Fi — and can connect up to 1,000 IoT end devices. Powered by Morse Micro's newest and highest-performing MM8108 8 MHz chipset, it is ideal for expansive environments and large-scale IoT deployment.

Deploy it flexibly as a router, access point or extender to create a network optimised for HaLow devices. Its sub-1GHz signal penetrates multiple floors and walls, reaching garages, basements and detached outbuildings — and one unit can cover over 200 acres for agricultural monitoring. It also serves standard devices: 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and LAN connect traditional IoT kit, phones and laptops, and a second HaLowLink 2 paired as an extender creates a plug-and-play 2.4 GHz hotspot up to 1 km away.

What is Wi-Fi HaLow?

Wi-Fi HaLow is a wireless standard (IEEE 802.11ah) designed specifically for IoT. It operates in the sub-1GHz band (usually 900 MHz, varying by region), which gives longer range, better penetration through obstacles and lower power consumption than traditional 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi — a robust, power-efficient way to connect large numbers of IoT devices over long distances.

How far does the sub-1GHz signal actually reach?

Up to 1 km (0.6 miles) line of sight — and because the lower frequency penetrates multiple floors and walls, it reaches places traditional Wi-Fi can't, such as basements, garages and detached shacks. A single unit can provide connectivity across more than 200 acres.

Can standard (non-HaLow) devices use it?

Yes. HaLowLink 2 provides 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (802.11n) and Ethernet for standard devices, and you can pair a second HaLowLink 2 as an extender to create a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi hotspot at long range in areas with spotty signal.
