Grandstream Wall Mount Bracket for GXV3470 Video IP Phone

The Grandstream GXV3470 wall mount bracket is the factory mount for that video phone. The GXV3470 is a large Android handset with a 7-inch touchscreen and an integrated camera, and it is heavier than an ordinary desk phone — the bracket is built around that weight and around the phone's own rear mounting points.

Wall mounting a video phone is as much about the camera angle as about desk space. Fixed at head height on a wall, the GXV3470 frames a standing caller properly, which is why these end up in reception areas, ward corridors and meeting rooms rather than on desks.

What height should it go at?

Around head height for a standing user, so the camera frames the face rather than the chest. In a reception area that usually means slightly lower than you would first guess — mark it up with someone standing in front of it before drilling.

Will a bracket for another GXV model fit?

No. The GXV3470 has its own mounting pattern. Send us the model number if you are unsure which bracket you need.

Are wall fixings included?

Fixings are not guaranteed in the pack, and with a heavier touchscreen phone the anchor matters. Use fixings rated for the wall type — plasterboard needs proper cavity anchors.

Does the phone still need a network cable?

Yes. The GXV3470 is powered over Ethernet from a PoE switch or injector, so plan the cable drop to the bracket position before fitting.
