Do I need an EHS cable or a lifter?

To answer calls away from your desk you need one or the other: an EHS cable if your phone supports electronic hook switch, or the HL10 handset lifter if it does not — see the CS540 + HL10 bundle. Without either, you simply lift the handset to take the call and then talk through the headset.

Will it work with my desk phone?

The base connects to standard desk phones using the supplied connecting cable. Tell us your phone model and we will confirm compatibility and the right EHS cable before you order.

Why DECT instead of Bluetooth?

DECT runs on its own dedicated spectrum, so the audio link stays solid in offices full of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth traffic.
