The Poly Edge E550 sits at the top of the Edge E models in this import: a dual-display open-SIP desk phone with 12 line keys, built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and the sharp industrial design that runs through the whole series.
It is built for the same hybrid patterns as the rest of the family — hot-desking, home offices and busy fixed positions — with quality Poly audio throughout. No PSU is included, so plan for PoE on cabled desks or add the adapter for Wi-Fi installations. The closely related E450 and the eight-key E300 cover the tiers below.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a power supply in the box?
No — the E550 ships without a PSU. Use PoE on a cabled connection, or order the Poly power adapter separately for Wi-Fi installations.
Does built-in Wi-Fi compromise call quality?
Not on a well-run wireless network — but voice does want decent coverage and ideally its own SSID or VLAN. We are happy to sanity-check your setup before a larger rollout.
Which hosted platforms does it support?
The Edge E series is open SIP and certified with mainstream hosted PBX providers. Tell us which platform you run and we will confirm interop and provisioning before dispatch.
Why choose the E550 over the E450?
They are close siblings — both dual-display with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Line-key count differs (12 here, 14 on the E450), so in practice the decision is usually price and stock at order time; call us and we will steer you.
