Does the DECT handset need a separate base station?

No. The cordless handset is integrated with the phone itself, giving up to 50 metres of range from the desk — there is no separate DECT base to install or license.

How is the phone powered?

The D892M supports Power over Ethernet, so a PoE switch port powers it over the network cable. The box includes the phone, receiver, stand and a network cable.

Can I add more programmable keys?

Yes — the D892M supports up to three Snom D8C expansion modules, on top of the 10 SmartLabel keys and 40 function mappings already on the phone.

Is it suitable for users with hearing aids?
