The Snom M256 bundles the M250 single-cell DECT base station with the ruggedised M56 handset, making it a ready-made cordless solution for warehouses, workshops, production facilities and other demanding workplaces where staff need to move and talk. The M56's IP67-rated housing shrugs off dust and water, and its rubberised grip stays secure even in gloved hands.

The M250 base supports up to ten Snom M5x-series handsets, so the system scales as the team grows — add the standard Snom M53, the feature-rich Snom M55 or further M56 rugged handsets to the same base. Power over Ethernet, zero-touch provisioning and remote management keep installation and upkeep simple for IT teams.

Safety features add reassurance for lone or isolated workers: the M56 carries an integrated alarm button and a man-down function, while TLS and SRTP encryption keep conversations secure.
