TP-Link
EAP723TP-LInk EAP723 Wifi 7 Compact Ceiling Access Point
The EAP723 is the compact way into business Wi-Fi 7: a ceiling-mount BE3600 access point delivering 2882 Mbps on 5 GHz plus 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz — up to 3.6 Gbps — with a 2.5GbE port so the cable keeps pace with the radios. Multi-Link Operation and Multi-RUs bring Wi-Fi 7's low-latency tricks to offices, clinics and classrooms without a flagship price.
It powers over 802.3at PoE — a multi-gigabit PoE switch such as the Omada SG3210XHP-M2 unlocks the full 2.5G uplink — and supports centralised management, mesh and seamless roaming, so it drops into an existing Omada estate alongside an OC200 controller. For tri-band Wi-Fi 7 with a 6 GHz radio, step up to the EAP772.

Frequently asked questions
Is Wi-Fi 7 worth it over Wi-Fi 6 here?
If your clients are refreshing to Wi-Fi 7 laptops and phones, Multi-Link Operation cuts latency noticeably and the BE3600 rates outrun similarly priced Wi-Fi 6 APs. On an all-legacy estate a Wi-Fi 6 AP still serves well.
Do I need a 2.5G switch?
The AP works on a Gigabit port, but its radios can carry more than 1 Gbps — a 2.5G PoE port upstream is the way to see the benefit.
How is it powered and mounted?
802.3at PoE over the uplink, with ceiling, wall and junction-box mounting kits included in the box.
