TP-Link
EAP772TP-Link OMADA EAP772 Ceiling Wi-Fi Access Point
The EAP772 is a BE9300 tri-band Wi-Fi 7 ceiling access point: 5760 Mbps on the clean 6 GHz band, 2880 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. The uncongested 6 GHz spectrum plus 320 MHz channels give latency-sensitive workloads — video production, conferencing, dense office floors — room to breathe.
Multi-Link Operation lets Wi-Fi 7 clients use multiple bands at once, while a 2.5G Ethernet port keeps the backhaul honest — pair it with a multi-gig PoE switch such as the Omada SG3210XHP-M2. Centralised management, mesh and AI roaming slot it into an Omada estate with an OC300 controller. The dual-band EAP723 covers smaller budgets; the EAP773 adds a 10G port at the top of the range.
Key features
- BE9300 tri-band Wi-Fi 7 — 5760 + 2880 + 574 Mbps across three bands.
- Clear 6 GHz band brings cleaner, wider spectrum to your Wi-Fi.
- 320 MHz bandwidth enables many more simultaneous transmissions.
- Multi-Link Operation and Multi-RUs for high throughput at low latency.
- 1 × 2.5G port unlocks the full potential of Wi-Fi 7.
- Centralised management, mesh and AI roaming for multi-AP estates.
Works with
- TP-Link Omada SG3210XHP-M2 — 2.5G PoE switch for its multi-gig uplink
- TP-Link EAP773 — the 10G-uplink flagship sibling
- TP-Link Omada OC300 controller — centralised management
- All wireless access points
- All networking
Frequently asked questions
Do my devices need Wi-Fi 7 to benefit?
Wi-Fi 7 clients get the headline features — MLO, 320 MHz, the 6 GHz band — but older Wi-Fi 5/6 devices still connect normally and gain from the AP's extra radio capacity.
What uplink should I give it?
A 2.5G PoE port. On a plain Gigabit port it works, but tri-band radios of this class will routinely exceed 1 Gbps of combined traffic.
Does it need a controller?
No — it runs standalone, with centralised management, mesh and AI roaming available once adopted into a controller-managed estate.
