EAP725-WallTP-Link EAP725-Wall Wi-Fi 7 Access Point
The EAP725-Wall brings Wi-Fi 7 to the wall plate: BE3600 speeds of 2882 Mbps on 5 GHz plus 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz for hotel rooms, apartments and offices that want next-generation wireless from a flush-mounted unit. Multi-Link Operation and Multi-RUs keep latency low even with a room full of devices.
Its port layout is unusually generous: a 2.5G PoE input, a 2.5G pass-through port and two Gigabit RJ45 downlinks, so the room's wired devices ride along on the same feed. Power it from a multi-gig PoE switch such as the Omada SG3210XHP-M2 to use the full 2.5G path. The EAP723 is the matching ceiling unit for corridors and communal areas, and the tri-band EAP775-Wall is the step up where the 6 GHz band matters.
Key features
- BE3600 Wi-Fi 7 — 2882 Mbps (5 GHz) + 688 Mbps (2.4 GHz).

Frequently asked questions
How is it powered?
Over the 2.5G PoE input port — one Ethernet run from a PoE switch delivers both power and a multi-gigabit uplink, with no socket needed in the room.
What is the pass-through port for?
It carries the 2.5G feed onward — handy for daisy-chaining to another device or outlet without pulling a second cable through the wall.
Does it need a controller?
No — it runs standalone. Multi-room deployments normally add centralised management so every wall plate is configured, monitored and roamed as one network.
