The EAP775-Wall is the tri-band Wi-Fi 7 wall plate: 6-stream BE9300 with 5765 Mbps on 6 GHz, 2882 Mbps on 5 GHz and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, supporting 380+ concurrent connections and covering up to 100 m² — complete in-room Wi-Fi for premium hotels, apartments and executive offices.

The slim housing sits flush to the wall, ships with a paintable cover to blend into the décor, and hides an anti-theft lock. Ports are plentiful: 2 × 2.5G (one PoE+/PoE++ input) plus 3 × Gigabit, two of which can supply PoE out to power in-room devices when fed with 802.3bt — from a switch such as the Omada SX3206HPP. Omada SDN gives one-click setup and cloud management alongside an OC300 controller; the dual-band EAP725-Wall is the value alternative.

Frequently asked questions

How is it powered?

Over its 2.5G input port with PoE+ or PoE++. To use the PoE-out feature for in-room devices, the input must be 802.3bt (PoE++).

What can the PoE-out ports run?

Two Gigabit ports can supply PoE out (or one at PoE+ level) — enough for an IP phone, camera or similar in-room device, powered without extra PSUs.

Can it really be painted?

The included additional cover is paintable, so the unit blends into the wall or interior scheme without voiding the hardware underneath.

Does it need a controller?

No — but Omada SDN with a controller is where the one-click setup, centralised cloud management and estate-wide roaming come from.
