TP-Link Omada SX3206HPP L2+ PoE Switch

The Omada SX3206HPP is a compact 10G PoE++ switch for the front line of a modern wireless network: four 10 Gbps RJ45 ports each deliver up to 60 W of PoE++, with two 10G SFP+ slots carrying the traffic upstream. A 200 W total budget covers the lot, so a handful of very fast, very hungry devices — Wi-Fi 7 access points, PTZ cameras, small servers — get power and a full-speed link over a single cable.

It is the natural partner for multi-gig Omada access points such as the EAP773 Wi-Fi 7 ceiling AP, and can be adopted by an OC200 controller so switches, APs and gateway share one dashboard — or run standalone via web, CLI, SNMP and RMON. Desktop and rack mounting are both supported, and a rackmount kit ships in the box.

Frequently asked questions

What can the PoE budget power?

There is 200 W in total across the four PoE++ ports, with up to 60 W available on any single port — enough for the most power-hungry Wi-Fi 7 access points with headroom to spare.

Why do I need 10G on a PoE port?

Wi-Fi 7 and high-density Wi-Fi 6 access points can push more traffic than a gigabit port carries. A 10G PoE++ port powers the AP and gives its uplink full headroom over one cable — no injector, no second run.

Do I need an Omada controller?

No — it manages standalone via web, CLI, SNMP and RMON. Adding an Omada controller is optional and brings switches, APs and gateways into one dashboard.

Rack or desktop?

Both — the chassis supports desktop and rack mounting, and the rackmount kit is included in the box.
